Contract Terms
  • Agency servicing fees (full procurement support)
    -  2% for existing contracts
    -  3% for new contract actions
  • Competitive orders at or under $100,000 are reserved for Small Business contract holders
  • Travel costs reimbursed in accordance with FAR 31.305-46 for non-fixed priced orders
  • Prime contractors measured on performance using performance criteria and SLAs

Full Acquisition Support
  • Customer contacts the BuyIT.gov office to establish an inter-agency agreement
  • The BuyIT.Gov contracting officer and customer consider small business or single-source requirements
  • The BuyIT.Gov   office works with agency on acquisition planning
  • Task order solicitation issued electronically to GITSS prime contractors
  • Prime contractors develop and submit proposal
  • Proposal evaluation, discussions, fact-finding, and negotiations
  • The contracting officer makes award of the task order.
Delegation of Procurement Authority
  • Agency contacts the BuyIT.gov program manager to establish an interagency agreement.
  • BuyIT.gov issues a delegation of procurement authority to agency�s contracting activity to issue task orders against the GITSS contract
